Day 1 Recap

This'll be pretty brief, my eyelids are real heavy right now.

We set out from Ystad at 14:30, after having first done some sightseeing. The day started with some light rain, but it soon turned into a pretty severe downpour. By the time we pulled into Kivik's Camping we were well and truly soaked.

But the rain wasn't the worst part. In fact, I don't even mind a bit of rain (note to powers that be, I said a BIT) but the wind? I hate the wind.

Actually, let me rephrase that: I hate headwind. Tailwind's good stuff.

Anyway, I don't want it to sound like we're miserable. We're not. We're having a good time.

On the way here we stopped by at Glimmingehus, which claims to be the best perserved castle in northern Europe. As castles go it was kinda small I thought, but it was still pretty neat.

All told we went 60 km today. A bit on the short side, but we started late, so I'm gonna give us a break. :)

That's all I've got in me. G'night.
